Metastatic Cancer

Prostate cancer can spread throughout the body through different means, but it tends to spread to bones rather than to other organs. Metastases means cancer spread, and with prostate cancer these can occur when the tumor is small. To determine whether the cancer has become an advanced metastatic cancer, a bone scan is used. If it is found that the cancer has spread to the bone then the disease will be treated as an advanced metastatic disease, even if the tumor in the prostate itself is relatively small.

Liver cancer is a life-threatening disease that can be extremely devastating to anyone who is afflicted with it as well as those around him. Anyone experiencing symptoms associated with cancer of the liver should seek medical care at the soonest possible time. Symptoms of cancer of the liver are not usually recognizable as a manifestation of the disease as they are not unusual - loss of appetite and weight, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, and general weakness.

When it comes to prostate cancer the personal decision of the patient is truly important; the doctors can advise and recommend therapies and treatments, but it's the patient's preference, combined with the severity of the problem that make a difference. Let's see what are the treatments for prostate cancer.

It is estimated that over 100,000 Americans discover that they have colon cancer annually. Many of these cases include those who have been diagnosed with cancer that has metastasized (metastatic colon cancer). Most of us already know that at this stage, treatment may become more complicated and difficult. Some cases though still have some hope for a few years' survival.

I would imagine that the most powerful man on earth would be able to do "something great" to help his beloved staff and fellowman who was in great distress. I believe that Snow would have gotten the best - the best advice, the best doctor, the best drugs and the best hospital - for him to fight his war against cancer.
